Meta-compulsive gestures

Beatrice Celli recovers from Abruzzo ancient disappeared gestures related to witchcraft.

Proposed in the exhibition space, these ritualized gestures ask: where do we place art in the regime of belief, and where is reality?

Counting the hairs of a broom, counting cereals, planting a knife in the wall, so many magic actions, rituals and simplified techniques used to control reality.

In the exhibition space, these gestures are then a metaphor for an opening towards another dimension, that of the "beyond". How the multiple dimensions of the invisibles awaken contemporary art as much as our minds ?
